Devon Linzy was born and raised in Temple, Texas, and proudly continues his father’s legacy of helping clients navigate the complexities of tax preparation and planning, estate planning, and probate administration.  While attending Louisiana State University, Devon dreamed of one day practicing law alongside his father.

After graduating from college and getting married, Devon and his wife moved to Fort Worth, where he earned his Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from Texas Wesleyan University in 2013, with a concentration in Probate and Guardianships. Following graduation, he joined the Linzy and Thigpen Law Firm, fulfilling his long-standing goal of practicing law with his father.

Devon is admitted to practice before the United States Tax Court and brings extensive experience representing clients in Tax Court proceedings, IRS Appeals, audit representation, and collection matters.  He currently resides in Temple with his wife, their two children, and their beloved hunting dog.
